Outlook Express
Mail Account Setup
- Open
Outlook Express. Left click on
“Tools” on the top toolbar. In the
drop-down menu, left click on “Accounts”.

- In the
window that opens, left click on the “Mail” tab. Left click on the “add” button on the
top right and choose “mail”.

- Fill
in the name that you want displayed when people receive mail from you and left
click next. Type in your e-mail
address and left click next. Your
incoming mail server is going to be a “POP3” server with the address of:
mailin.managednetworks.net
Your outgoing
SMTP server is:
mailout.managednetworks.net

- After
you have typed the information in, left click next. If you would like for Outlook Express to
remember your user name and password, fill in your credentials and left click
the check box “Remember Password”, otherwise, left click next and then
left click finish.
- Go
back to the toolbar at the top and left click “Tools”, then “Accounts”,
and left click the “Mail” tab. Now
left click the account that you just created and left click “Properties”
on the right. From the window that
opens, left click on the “Servers” tab at the top. At the bottom, left click the check box
“My server requires authentication”.

- Left
click on the “Advanced” tab at the top.
Under “Outgoing mail”, left click the check box “This server
requires a secure connection (SSL)” and type the number “465” into the box
above it. Under “Incoming mail”,
left click the check box “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)”
and type the number “995” into the box above it.

Left click “Apply”, then “OK” and
you are done.
